Bio

Throughout her career, Julie has collaborated with faculty as both a librarian and digital learning consultant in small liberal arts environments. One fun fact is that she has a rich history with women’s colleges, having studied or worked thus far at Scripps, Smith, Mount Holyoke(MHC) and William Smith Colleges. At MHC, Julie facilitated several initiatives, including the development (and then teaching) of an information fluency course and a student peer-based Technology Mentor Program. At HWS, she administered a number of innovation grants including Innovative Digital Pedagogies, Innovative Classrooms, and AsiaPod. At Worcester State, based in the Center for Teaching and Learning, she is excited to draw from all of her higher ed experiences, including a recent certificate in instructional design.
