About

I am currently an associate professor and co-director of the School Psychology program at Worcester State University. My teaching course load includes courses related to social-emotional and behavioral assessment, research methodology, tiered systems of support, and consultation. Prior to joining the faculty at WSU, I worked for 10 years as a school psychologist and special education coordinator in a public school setting. My research interests include examining school discipline laws, regulations, and policy, crisis management in schools, and multi-tiered systems of support.  In addition to research, I support the development of ancillary resources for Introductory Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology, and Lifespan Development textbooks for Macmillan Publishers.  I also serve as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Justice on matters related to students with disabilities.
