    Individual Student Appointments

If you are a senior in high school or a potential transfer student, you can request a one-on-one meeting with our admissions staff. If you have questions that can’t be answered via email or over the phone, we’re more than happy to talk with you in person. If you bring your transcripts, we can determine if you’re an admissible candidate, prepare preliminary transfer credit evaluations, and offer academic advice.

Note: Admissions counselors will be traveling frequently during the months of September and October so appointments will be offered on a limited basis. Please contact your counselor directly to determine their availability.

    Fall Open Houses

Open house is a perfect opportunity to meet with our faculty, staff, and current students. You also will have the chance to discuss the admissions process, financial aid, residence life, student services, campus activities, and academics. Each academic department will be represented so that you can explore all our majors. Full campus tours are included as part of every open house event.

Check back in the summer for Fall 2020 Open House dates.

Are you a high school counselor, teacher, or leader of a college-bound organization interested in bringing a group of high school students to our campus? To better assist you with planning your visit, please read through our group tour guidelines and complete our Group Tour Request Form.
    General group tour guidelines:

    • Group tours will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
    • An Admissions Information Session is available in conjunction with the campus tour dependent upon counselor availability. Tours are not available on weekends or on holidays when WSU is closed.
    • In order to plan the best visit possible and to secure a student tour guide, we ask that you submit your request at least 3 weeks in advance.
    • We can accommodate groups of up to 50 students. Tours are geared toward high school students.
    • Although we are not able to provide complementary lunch to all of our visitors, groups are welcome to have lunch on their own in our brand new dining facility in Sheehan Hall. Once your group tour has been confirmed, we will send you information on how to make lunch arrangements.
