Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) is the official honor society of the National Communication Association. Worcester State’s chapter, Omega Psi, was formed in 2011. LPH has more than 500 active chapters at universities across the United States. LPH was founded in 1985 at the University of Arkansas. It became part of the National Communication Association in 1988 and the association’s official honor society in July 1995.
Communication majors and minors are invited to join Lambda Pi Eta after they have completed 60 credit hours with a 3.0 or higher GPA and have completed at least 12 credit hours of communication courses with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
