Give yourself a competitive edge in your career with a Spanish minor.
The demand in the global marketplace for individuals who can demonstrate cultural awareness and communicate in more than one language increases all the time. If you are planning a career in business, international relations, public health, nursing, medicine, education, social work, or criminal justice—among other careers—the minor in Spanish can give you the language skills to have an edge in the job market. The program allows you to focus your learning with a minimum of 6 credits of electives. Up to 12 credits of the 18 required credits can be earned by taking the CLEP exam, departmental placement exam, or Seal of Biliteracy. AP credit will award 6 credits.
