• Student Registration and Parent Orientation

Congratulations on your acceptance to Worcester State University! As you begin the process of enrolling at Worcester State, you and your parent are invited to attend a Student Registration Day and Parent Orientation.

    Parent Orientation
Intended for parents and guardians of new students only, this half-day program will give your family the opportunity to learn more about academic programs, get advice on your transition to college, and meet staff from Student Services, Financial Aid, Residence Life, and Commuter Services. Parent Orientation is highly recommended. Brunch is included in the program.

    Student Registration Day
As a new student, it is important to chart a clear path to academic success. At the half-day Student Registration Day event, you will learn more about your future academic plans, meet with academic advisors, take a college placement test, and review your first semester classes. Attendance at a Student Registration Day is for new students only and is mandatory.

If you do not attend a Registration Day before Orientation in June, you will have your first semester schedule created by an academic advisor in the Academic Success Center. You will still be required to take a placement test at a later time. It is important to attend a Registration Day in order to have the most input into your course schedule.
