  • Technology Services for Students

Worcester State University’s Information Technology staff is here to help you navigate the assortment of technology resources designed to enhance your learning experience. Below are some popular student services:

  • Username and Password
Your WSU network username and password are your entrance to technology at WSU. Your username and password will be used to access all WSU systems, WebAdvisor, WSU Gmail, network data storage, printing, and online registration.

Your username and password are generated at the time that you are admitted and registered for course(s). You receive your username and password in your deposit confirmation letter. While we can’t provide password information over the phone, we have developed an easy way for you to look up and reset your information. You can do this using our online password reset application. Please note that it’s very important that you read through all the instructions.

Don't share your password with anyone; it's against WSU’s Network Acceptable Use Policy to share this information.
WSU’s OneCard ID is your official identification, library and door access card. Visit the OneCard web page for more information.
    Laptop Purchase Program
WSU requires all full-time undergraduate students to have a laptop computer. Visit the Laptop Purchase Program web page for details.
    WSU Gmail
You can access your student WSU Gmail account via Your WSU Gmail is an official means of communication for WSU. It is important for you to check this account frequently. Visit the WSU Google Apps training page for more information.
    Network Data Storage
There are more than 25 gigabytes of storage available in your WSU Gmail account for documents, email, calendar, sites, and more. Visit the WSU Google Apps training page for more information.
You can use WebAdvisor to look up courses, check grades, register for new courses, make payments on your student account, and more. You can access WebAdvisor via myWSU or typing into your Internet browser.
    Open Lab Availability
There are 2 open computer labs on campus. One is located in the Sullivan Academic Center, Room 138, and the other in our area of the Learning Resource Center, Suite 310. You will need your WSU OneCard ID to access the room(s) and for printing. You will log in with your WSU username and password. Remember to choose the ACL domain when logging in to a computer on campus.
You can print via the wireless network to public computing labs in several locations on campus. Each student receives $20 worth of free printing for each academic year, after which you will have to use your OneCard Common Funds for printing expenses. Black-and-white printing is 10 cents per page; color is $1 per page.
