  • Your Data Stays Within the University’s Domain: The content you enter into Gemini prompts, as well as the AI-generated responses, remain within the university’s managed Google Workspace environment. This data is not shared with other users or institutions.
  • No Use for AI Model Training: Your data, including your prompts and the content you create, is not used to train or improve Google’s public AI models. Google’s policy for its Workspace for Education core services is that user data is not used for advertising or for training external AI models.
  • No Human Review: The conversations you have with Gemini are not reviewed by humans.
  • Inherited Security Policies: Gemini is fully integrated into the Google Workspace platform, which means it automatically inherits the same security and compliance standards that protect your data in Gmail, Docs, and Drive. This includes robust encryption for data that is both in transit and at rest.

Accessing Gemini at Worcester State
