WSU Workshops
In our ongoing efforts to support equitable access to all instructional materials, please be aware that IT, in collaboration with our CTL: The Faculty Development Center, will be offering workshops for faculty and librarians at the following times. These workshops, all covering the fundamentals of accessibility remediation and the creation of accessible documents, will focus especially on using our Blackboard Ally digital accessibility tool. All in-person sessions will take place in LRC-319B, located to the right of the Help Desk. Bring your laptop and a (digital) copy of your syllabus for practice. Even better, bring a colleague!

- Worcester State Library – The Library has a vast and growing collection of electronic articles, ebooks, and streaming videos. Many electronic resources have built-in accessibility features such as read aloud functionality, screen reader accessibility, language translation, customizable fonts, colors, and contrast settings, captions, and visual descriptions. By linking directly to Library resources users will see and benefit from accessibility enhancements not otherwise available in scanned PDFs.
