The best way to learn about Worcester State University is to walk around our beautiful campus and talk with members of our vibrant community—students, professors, and admissions staff alike.

  • Campus Tours and Information Sessions

    Campus Tours
You can take a student-guided campus tour during the fall semester, Monday through Friday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. We will also offer visit opportunities on the following Saturdays: October 3, November 7, and December 5.

Campus tours will begin on September 21 and run through December 5.

For information about scheduling a group tour, please refer to our Group Tours tab.

    Individual Student Appointments

If you are a senior in high school or a potential transfer student, you can request a one-on-one meeting with our admissions staff. If you have questions that can’t be answered via email or over the phone, we’re more than happy to talk with you in person. If you bring your transcripts, we can determine if you’re an admissible candidate, prepare preliminary transfer credit evaluations, and offer academic advice.

*Admissions counselors will be traveling frequently during the months of September and October so appointments will be offered on a limited basis. Please contact your counselor directly to determine their availability.

    Fall Open Houses
Open house is a perfect opportunity to meet with our faculty, staff, and current students. You also will have the chance to discuss the admissions process, financial aid, residence life, student services, campus activities, and academics. Each academic department will be represented so that you can explore all our majors. Full campus tours are included as part of every open house event.

    2015 Fall Open House dates:

    Group Tours

Are you a high school counselor, teacher, or leader of a college-bound organization interested in bringing a group of high school students to our campus? To better assist you with planning your visit, please read through our group tour guidelines and complete our Group Tour Request Form

Please be advised that we have reached capacity for fall 2015. You may contact the group tour coordinator for information regarding spring 2016 availability.

    General group tour guidelines:

    • In order to plan the best visit possible and to secure a student tour guide, we ask that you submit your request 3 weeks in advance.
    • We can accommodate groups of up to 40 students. Tours are geared toward high school students.
    • Group tours are offered Monday through Friday. A brief (optional) Admissions Information Session is available after the conclusion of the tour. Tours are not available on weekends or on holidays when WSU is closed.
    • Although we are not able to provide complementary lunch to all of our visitors, groups are welcome to have lunch on their own in our brand new dining facility in Sheehan Hall. Once your group tour has been confirmed, we will send you information on how to make lunch arrangements.

If you have any questions, please contact Christopher Dooley at or 508-929-8040.
