Facilities

The Facilities Department team of engineers, project managers, skilled craftspeople, groundskeepers, and custodial service staff provides comprehensive planning and management for all aspects of the facilities and infrastructure at the University.  We are committed to providing an attractive, functional, and healthy campus for our Students, Employees, and Visitors. Additionally, the Mail Center, Inventory, Document Retention, Public Records Access, and Central Receiving & Stockroom are part of the Facilities team.

The Facilities Department at Worcester State University is dedicated to sustaining a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained campus environment that supports academic excellence, community engagement, and personal growth.  Through proactive maintenance, efficient operations, and sustainable practices, we preserve and enhance the physical spaces where students, faculty, and staff learn, work, and grow – upholding WSU’s commitment to scholarship, creativity, and global awareness.

PURPOSE

The Facilities Department ensures that campus buildings, grounds, and infrastructure remain functional, attractive, and supportive of the University’s mission.  We provide reliable, customer-focused services, and steward campus resources responsibly to maintain long-term operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
