LIFE AT WSU

  • Sustainability and Food Fair

Help Worcester State University raise awareness about environmental and food sustainability at our annual Sustainability and Food Fair, an event organized by the Sustainability Office, Earth, Environment, and Physics Department, Intergenerational Urban Institute, and Chartwells. This 2-day event gives you the chance to:

    • Meet local farmers and employees of sustainable and eco-friendly businesses.
    • Expand your knowledge by participating in giveaways, EV test-drives, watching films about environmental issues, and attending the teach-in sessions.
    • Enjoy some local food at several barbecues, including trying the "Impossible Burger".
    • Tour WSU’s Teaching Garden, located across the street from campus next to Chandler Magnet School.
    • Purchase energy-efficient light bulbs and other energy-saving devices from MassSave.

The 12th Annual Sustainability/Food Day Fair will be held on October 16-17, 2019.
