Centers & Institutes

  • Centers and Institutes

From the study of human rights to social innovation to craft education and entrepreneurship, Worcester State is a regional focal point for pioneering thinkers, change agents, and civic leaders.

We are home to many centers and institutes that serve our campus community, the greater central Massachusetts region, and wider world. Centers and institutes at Worcester State are engaged in:

    • Emerging issues related to human rights, civic engagement, social innovation, global media, and health care
    • Training in business, English language, media literacy, and professional development for educators
    • Service and support to enhance the educational achievement of Latino youth

In addition, our partnership with the Worcester Center for Crafts deepens our students’ exposure to art and enriches the community at large.
