Placement Tests

Taking a Placement Test at Worcester State University is based on a student’s recalculated high school grade point average (GPA) and academic major. Your Academic Advisor will notify you if you need to take a placement test before your class schedule is created. Placement Tests are available remotely to all students. You will be allowed to take these tests at home. Below is an overview of majors that require a placement test for incoming first-year students as well as later placement tests that are required. Transfer students should contact the Testing Coordinator to determine if a Placement Test is needed.
