John J. Binienda Service Award
Office SC-322
Congratulations to Amanda Adamuska,
recipient of the 2026 John J. Binienda Public Service Award!

This award recognizes a Worcester State student who demonstrates a strong commitment to public service and civic engagement, in honor of alumnus and former 17th Worcester District State Representative John J. Binienda, whose career was defined by that work.
Amanda is a senior Political Science major, student-athlete, and 4+1 MPA student. She’s a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and recently served as an intern on Councilor Khrystian King’s campaign, where she supported the team and helped train new volunteers. As her campaign manager shared, Amanda is “a pure ray of joy” and an incredibly reliable leader.
Amanda plans to bring her passion for public service to Worcester city government, and we have no doubt she will make a meaningful impact. At the Binienda Center, we are committed to cultivating student leaders through civic engagement and public service—and Amanda truly reflects that mission.
