As a veteran or member of the military, you have provided a very noble and crucial service for all of us, and for that, the Worcester State University community thanks you. Our Military Affairs and Veterans Services Office is committed to helping you meet your educational goals by providing you with information, services, and support.

You can rely on our director of Military Affairs and Veterans Services, Stephanie Teixeira, to help you transition to the Worcester State community, become an active member of our student body, and successfully complete the requirements you need to earn a bachelor’s degree. Our Military Affairs/Veterans Services Student Information Guide also is designed to help you navigate educational services and reporting requirements.

Certifying Your Veterans Benefits

Before the start of each semester, be sure to verify your attendance to receive education and training benefits from the Veterans Administration. Worcester State’s certifying official, Cherie Milosh, will assist you with all aspects of Chapter 33, the Post-9/11 Bill, and the Montgomery G.I. Bill®.

Her office is located within the Registrar’s Office (Office 107 in the Shaughnessy Administration Building). Contact her at 508-929-8773 or cmilosh@worcester.edu. In addition, anyone in the Registrar’s Office can assist you with general questions.

The Registrar’s Office can also provide general information of interest to veterans and dependents of veterans enrolled at Worcester State. Spouses and dependents of 100 percent disabled or deceased veterans wishing to inquire about possible veterans’ benefits should contact the Registrar’s Office.
