Through the Conference and Event Services Office, Worcester State University offers an array of venues to meet our clients’ event needs—including auditoriums, conference rooms, classrooms, lecture halls, and multipurpose rooms.
Auditoriums

Sullivan Auditorium: Located in our Sullivan Academic Center, the Sullivan offers seating for up to 1,096 attendees. It is the perfect setting for dance competitions, large lectures, and stage performances of all kinds. This space has a house sound system, stage lighting, and wireless and wired microphones.

Eager Auditorium: Located in the Sullivan Academic Center, Eager Auditorium is the perfect room to kick off a conference, with seating for up to 185 attendees and a built-in instructor computer and projector. Classrooms throughout the building provide plenty of convenient options for breakout sessions.

Fuller Theater: Located on the second floor of our Shaughnessy Administration Building, the Fuller Theater seats up to 166 attendees. It is a stylish setting for small performances or intimate lectures. Its audio-visual equipment includes a ceiling-mounted projector and sound equipment. Availability is limited during the academic year.

Ghosh Center Lecture Hall: Located in the Ghosh Science and Technology Center, this lecture hall is an ideal venue for conference keynotes. With its built-in instructor computer, projector, and sound system as well as updated lighting, its other uses range from presentations to panel discussions to film screenings. It seats up to 196 attendees.

Conference Rooms

Foster Room: The Foster Room, located on the third floor of our Student Center, seats between 39 and 50 attendees, depending on the table/chair configuration that you select.

Fallon Room: The Fallon Room, located on the third floor of our Student Center, seats between 27 and 40 attendees, depending on the table/chair configuration that you select.

Seven Hills Conference Room: The Seven Hills Conference Room, located on the first floor of Wasylean Hall, seats between 25 and 45 attendees, depending on the table/chair configuration that you select.

Learning Resource Center Room 117: Room 117 in the Learning Resource Center serves as a lecture hall and can seat up to 88 attendees. The amenities include a computer, projector, and screen setup.

Learning Resource Center Room 121: Room 121 in the Learning Resource Center serves as a lecture hall and can seat up to 80 attendees. The amenities include a computer, projector, and screen setup.

MultiPurpose

Blue Lounge: The Blue Lounge, located on the first floor of the Student Center, seats between 40 and 180 attendees, depending on the table/chair configuration that you select. It has room for up to 2 buffet tables.

Sheehan Multipurpose: The Sheehan Multipurpose Room, located on the first floor of the Sheehan Residence Hall seats between 36 and 80 attendees, depending on the table/chair configuration that you select.

North/South Auditorium: The North/South Auditorium, located on the third floor of the Student Center has the ability to be used as one large room or split into two smaller rooms depending on your event needs.

Wellness Center & Competition Field

John P. Brissette ’88 Competition Court: The court has 1,500 seats including four sides of seating and 263 seats with backs. It also boasts a state-of-the art sound system.

Multipurpose Gym: The gym features two dividable courts with striping for multiple sports, drop-down throwing and batting cages, and a state-of-the-art sound system.

Exercise Rooms: Exercise rooms located on the second floor of the Wellness Center are great for your next Zumba or dance class. Each room can fit up to 40 attendees.

John Coughlin Memorial Field: The John Coughlin Memorial Field is a 2,500-seat stadium with an artificial turf and track. It is home to Worcester State football, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, and women's lacrosse teams. The outdoor track-and-field team competes on the track. Numerous high-school championship games in football, field hockey, and soccer have been played here, and the high school state track meets here. The field features a three-bay garage, refreshment facility, press box, and public address system.
